Located in the historic Quimby Building, this small restaurant features a magnificent hanging glass sculpture in the lobby consisting of hundreds of blown glass bubbles, enhanced by lavender light, representing champagne. The menu is small and distinctive, with salads, steaks, pasta, and fish, all with a special flair. You should also check out the bathrooms, which have changing light projections, like a slide show or movie, on the front of both the men's, and women's restrooms. Entries are $15-40. We had the Portobello Mushroom dinner, which was delicious and inexpensive for a downtown restaurant. We also had the Caeser salad which was typical and nondescript, but nevertheless delicious. The apple spice cheesecake and its companion, the banana cheesecaker, were both unique and delicious.
