St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Adams and Figueroa

Title: St. Vincent's Catholic Church, located on the northwest corner of South Figueroa and West Adams.

Description: Built in 1923-25, it was designed by architect Albert C. Martin. It is a prime example of Spanish Colonial Revival style in California. Influences include Goodhue's 1915 San Diego Expo California Building and the Spanish Churriguresque style of Mexico. It is made of Indian limestone, tile and stucco.

First AME Church

The First AME Church, the oldest Black church in Los Angeles, was originally located at 8th and Town Ave. in downtown. Its current location is 2270 S Harvard Avenue in West Adams.
